Our IBC stainless steel adapter with a 1" fine thread (external thread) on the outlet side and a S60x6 union nut (groove nut) as connection to the tank. The stainless steel accessory is made of high quality stainless steel 1.4404 and has an EPDM gasket (FDA compliant) ex works. This gasket can be replaced with the aid of locking pliers. Due to the milled holes, the union nut can be tightened by hand without any problems.
The stainless steel is basically suitable for use in the food sector, however, the suitability and compatibility test should be carried out by the customer.
