Our Buschings are the perfect problem solver when you need to adapt a thread from male to female or from female to male. The Busching has a fine thread (British Standard -tapered) on both sides with a female thread on male thread. For a tight connection, the fitting has an O-ring seal made of EPDM. Bushing for reducing a 2" fine thread to a smaller thread.These fittings are often used for IBC lids in order to be able to install smaller connections or screw fittings.However, due to the widespread fine thread, the bushings can also be used for many other pipe installations, such as irrigation systems or in pool construction.To seal the connection properly, we recommend the use of PTFE sealing tape, as the Busching does not have a seal.

You want to adapt a thread adapter from internal to external thread? Or the other way around? Then our Buschings are perfect for this. Our Buschings all have a tapered BSPT fine thread with an EPDM O-ring gasket for a tight connection.
