Our PTFE gasket tape is ideal as a sealant for threaded fittings or pipes with a fine thread.
The PTFE sealing tape has the properties:
Please wrap the sealing tape flat around the external thread (fine thread) and overlapping about 1/2 width. The sealing tape should be tight. At the end of the thread, tear off the tape and press it tightly. Please do not turn back the threaded parts! Caution: Intended for one-time sealing only.
Winding direction:
➔ Right-hand thread: right way round.
➔ Left-hand thread: counterclockwise around
The PTFE sealing tape has the properties:
- Temperature resistant from -100°C to +260°C / -148°F bis +500°F
- Water repellent and corrosion protection
