This drum heating band is designed for controlled heating and temperature maintenance of standard 200 litre drums. Unlike a full drum heating jacket, heat is transferred through a circumferential heating band positioned around the drum. The integrated analog thermostat provides simple and reliable temperature control up to 120 °C for a wide range of industrial applications.

Product Description

The heating band is fitted around the drum and transfers heat directly through the drum wall. This design provides flexible positioning and is particularly suitable for applications where full-surface drum heating is not required.

The integrated analog thermostat allows straightforward temperature adjustment up to 120 °C. For improved temperature stability and energy efficiency, the heating band can be combined with a matching drum insulation jacket or insulation lid to reduce heat loss during operation.

• Before use, check the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the maximum media temperature for the respective container (IBC, drum, canister, etc.). 
• All temperatures listed are for guidance only.
• The temperatures that can be achieved depend on many variables, such as the ambient temperature, the supply voltage, the medium, the drum material, the drum size, whether an agitator is used, and much more.
• The heating element must only be operated on filled containers! DO NOT under any circumstances perform a “dry test.” This could damage the container or even cause it to melt.
• The heating element must be operated at a connection equipped with a properly rated residual current device (RCD) and circuit breaker.
• Be sure to read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the product and the manual for the proper operation of the heating element.
