Product information
This IBC heater is designed for controlled heating, temperature maintenance and freeze protection of liquids stored in standard 1000 litre IBC containers. Three independently controlled heating bands, each equipped with its own digital thermostat, provide flexible temperature management and support uniform heating of large liquid volumes. This makes the heater particularly suitable for demanding industrial processing applications.
Product Benefits
- Three independently controlled heating bands with individual digital thermostats
- Total heating output of 3 × 1000 W
- Precise temperature control up to 90 °C for each heating zone
- Flexible adjustment of heating performance to process requirements
- Uniform heat transfer through the side walls of the IBC container
- Supports heating of high-viscosity materials and freeze protection
- Heavy-duty design for continuous industrial operation
- Recommended for use with a matching insulated IBC lid to improve thermal efficiency
Typical Applications
- Chemicals and industrial process media
- Resins and adhesives
- Oils and lubricants
- Waxes and paraffins
- Liquid raw materials
- Temperature maintenance of large liquid volumes
Product Description
Heating large IBC containers efficiently requires even heat distribution across the container surface. The three independently controlled heating zones allow flexible temperature management over almost the full height of the container, making the heater suitable for varying fill levels and demanding industrial processes.
The heater is designed for applications requiring high heating capacity combined with flexible temperature control. For improved thermal efficiency, the manufacturer recommends using the heater together with a matching insulated IBC lid to minimise heat loss through the top of the container.
Important!
- Before use, check the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the maximum media temperature for the respective container (IBC, drum, canister, etc.).
- All temperatures listed are for guidance only.
- The temperatures that can be achieved depend on many variables, such as the ambient temperature, the supply voltage, the medium, the drum material, the drum size, whether an agitator is used, and much more.
- The heating element must only be operated on filled containers! DO NOT under any circumstances perform a “dry test.” This could damage the container or even cause it to melt.
- The heating element must be operated at a connection equipped with a properly rated residual current device (RCD) and circuit breaker.
- Be sure to read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the product and the manual for the proper operation of the heating element.
