Product information
This IBC heater has been developed specifically for freeze protection and temperature maintenance of liquids stored in standard 1000 litre IBC containers. With a temperature range of 0 to 40 °C, it is particularly suitable for preventing frost damage and maintaining moderate product temperatures during storage and handling. The integrated digital thermostat provides accurate temperature control to suit the application.

- Water-based solutions
- Chemicals and industrial process media
- Liquid fertilisers and technical fluids
- Industrial applications requiring moderate heating
Product Description
Low ambient temperatures can increase the viscosity of many liquids or even cause freezing. The heater helps maintain the desired product temperature, supporting reliable pumping and processing while protecting temperature-sensitive media against frost.
With a control range up to 40 °C, this version is primarily intended for freeze protection and moderate temperature maintenance rather than high-temperature heating applications. For improved thermal efficiency, the manufacturer recommends combining the heater with a matching insulated IBC lid to minimise heat loss.
Important!
- Before use, check the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the maximum media temperature for the respective container (IBC, drum, canister, etc.).
- All temperatures listed are for guidance only.
- The temperatures that can be achieved depend on many variables, such as the ambient temperature, the supply voltage, the medium, the drum material, the drum size, whether an agitator is used, and much more.
- The heating element must only be operated on filled containers! DO NOT under any circumstances perform a “dry test.” This could damage the container or even cause it to melt.
- The heating element must be operated at a connection equipped with a properly rated residual current device (RCD) and circuit breaker.
- Be sure to read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the product and the manual for the proper operation of the heating element.
