1000 L Food & Pharmaceutical IBC Heater 2 × 1000 W with 2 Digital Thermostats 0–90 °C | 230 V Schuko
€2,719.15
Product information
This IBC heater is designed for controlled heating, temperature maintenance and freeze protection of liquids stored in standard 1000 litre IBC containers. The Food & Pharmaceutical version is intended for applications in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries where precise temperature control and suitable material properties are required. Two independently controlled heating zones, each equipped with its own digital thermostat, provide accurate and flexible temperature control up to 90 °C.
Product Benefits
- Two independently controlled heating bands with individual digital thermostats
- Total heating output of 2 × 1000 W
- Precise temperature control up to 90 °C for each heating zone
- Food & Pharmaceutical version for demanding hygienic and industrial applications
- Uniform heat transfer through the side walls of the IBC container
- Improves the flow characteristics of temperature-sensitive and high-viscosity materials
- Suitable for controlled heating, temperature maintenance and freeze protection
- Recommended for use with a matching insulated IBC lid to improve thermal efficiency
Typical Applications
- Food ingredients and food processing materials
- Pharmaceutical intermediates
- Cosmetic raw materials
- Syrups and concentrates
- Edible oils, fats and waxes
- Other temperature-sensitive process media
Product Description
Many raw materials become increasingly viscous at lower temperatures, making pumping, dispensing and processing more difficult. The heater transfers heat evenly through the side walls of the container, supporting controlled temperature management of large liquid volumes while improving product flow and maintaining stable processing conditions.
The two independently controlled heating zones allow flexible adjustment to individual process requirements. According to the manufacturer, the Food & Pharmaceutical series uses materials intended for applications requiring enhanced material properties. For maximum thermal efficiency, the heater is best combined with a matching insulated IBC lid to minimise heat loss.
Important!
- Before use, check the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the maximum media temperature for the respective container (IBC, drum, canister, etc.).
- All temperatures listed are for guidance only.
- The temperatures that can be achieved depend on many variables, such as the ambient temperature, the supply voltage, the medium, the drum material, the drum size, whether an agitator is used, and much more.
- The heating element must only be operated on filled containers! DO NOT under any circumstances perform a “dry test.” This could damage the container or even cause it to melt.
- The heating element must be operated at a connection equipped with a properly rated residual current device (RCD) and circuit breaker.
- Be sure to read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the product and the manual for the proper operation of the heating element.
